Provider
SpeakDoch, operating SpeakDoch. Contract and service questions can be sent to [email protected].
1. The service
SpeakDoch provides software for German-language practice, including AI-assisted conversation, reading, vocabulary, speech, and personalized learning tools. It is an educational aid, not an accredited school, examination body, or substitute for professional advice. AI output may be incorrect or incomplete.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep access credentials secure, and promptly tell us about unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Google sign-in may be linked only after the relevant Google identity or an existing SpeakDoch session has been verified.
3. Trials, prices, and renewal
The checkout page shows the plan, currency, trial length, billing interval, taxes where applicable, and total price before you order. Unless the checkout says otherwise, a paid plan renews automatically at the displayed interval until canceled. The current onboarding offer is a seven-day free trial followed by €22.47 per month; the Stripe checkout page is controlling if it displays a different offer or price.
You can cancel from Billing or through the online cancellation page. Cancellation stops future renewals; access ordinarily continues through the already-paid period unless applicable law requires another result. Statutory consumer and withdrawal rights remain unaffected.
4. Fair use and acceptable use
“Unlimited” describes ordinary personal language-learning use and remains subject to reasonable technical and abuse-prevention limits. You may not resell access, evade limits, interfere with the service, probe security, upload unlawful material, violate another person’s rights, or use output to cause harm.
5. Content and intellectual property
You retain rights you have in content you submit. You give SpeakDoch the limited rights needed to process that content and provide the requested feature. SpeakDoch and its licensors retain their rights in the app, visual design, software, teaching materials, trademarks, and supplied content.
6. Availability and changes
We may improve, replace, or discontinue features and providers. We aim for reliable access but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Material changes to paid service terms will be communicated as required by law.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. Subject to that, SpeakDoch is not responsible for decisions made solely from AI output, failures outside its reasonable control, or indirect losses not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
8. Ending use and contacting us
You may stop using SpeakDoch at any time. We may suspend access for material abuse, security risk, or non-payment, with notice where practical and legally required. Questions can be sent to [email protected]. German and EU mandatory consumer law applies where it protects you regardless of these terms.
9. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how personal data is processed.
